Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how you can have it removed. We do not sell personal information.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit the seller offer form or the cash-buyer form, we collect only what the form asks for:
- Full name
- Phone number and email address
- Property address or target counties
- Situation type and any notes you choose to write
- The consent language you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed to it
- Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information
2. Where Property Information Comes From
We also work from public Illinois county records — tax rolls, court filings, and the recorder of deeds — for Kane, Kendall & DuPage counties. We do not purchase consumer data lists, credit data, or skip-traced marketing files.
If we contacted you first, it was because your property appeared in a public record, not because your information was bought from a data broker.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Respond to your request and prepare a written, non-binding offer
- Verify property details against county records
- Contact you by phone, text, or email about the property, if you consented
- Notify buy-box matches to cash buyers who joined the buyer list
- Keep records of consent and opt-out requests as required by law
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
If we assign a contract or connect a property to a buyer in our network, we share only what that buyer needs to evaluate and close the transaction — and we tell you before anything is signed whether we are buying in our own name or connecting the deal to someone else.
We may also share information with service providers who host this site and store our records, or where required by law.
5. Consent, Do Not Call, and Opt-Out
All contact from us is opt-in. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing us.
We honor the National and Illinois Do Not Call registries. When you ask us to stop, we stop across every channel — phone, text, email, and mail — within 10 business days. Send opt-out requests to deals@ledgerlot.com or call (630) 551-8959.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep lead submissions for as long as needed to evaluate the property and, where a transaction occurs, for the period required for business and tax records. Consent and opt-out records are kept for compliance purposes even after a deletion request, since they are the proof that we handled your request correctly.
You may request deletion of your submission at any time and we will remove it from our active records.
7. Data Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in an access-controlled database. Only the site owner can view or export lead records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Illinois residents also have rights under the Biometric Information Privacy Act; we do not collect biometric information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
9. Children
This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new revision date, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
